I feel like this is such a good follow-up to Drops of Jupiter, and a sweet tribute to both Pat Monahan’s mom and his wife:
There are quite a few allusions to death on this album, such as in “You Can Finally Meet My Mom.” Can you explain?
My mom died right before I wrote “Drops of Jupiter,” so that song is ‘I wonder what it’s like out there?’ I had to cross-pollinate it with love — a girl/boy...

Tomorrow!
Couponing! I haven’t been in forever and my binder is a little scarce…but so is our pantry, so hopefully I will have a successful trip. Harris Teeter is tripling, and Wednesdays are doubles up to a a dollar at Farm Fresh.
We went up to see Boy’s grandmother in the hospital today…she is awake and doing great! Hopefully she will be moved out of ICU here in the next few...

I can officially
begin car shopping :) Mom and Dad are offering to pay for a years worth of car payments on a newer car for me until I commission and graduate as my 21st birthday and commissioning gift! I’ll take over the payments when I have orders and Boy and I are settled wherever. So excited!!
